    Caring for Your Radiator

There are some things that most often lead to leaks in the radiator. Namely: corrosion (rust), collision (either due to collision or due to hit the radiator fan switch). Especially for the fiber material, other causes are heat and pressure of water in the radiator. Due to these causes, it may be voids or gaps formed in the plates (fiber), the radiator where the water was seeping out. Because the leaky radiator, the cooling system is not working properly. As a result, the engine temperature was not controlled and there was overheating when the engine continues to be forced to work without cooling. We certainly had memorized when the engine overheating. Because of the heat that exceeds tolerance, the engine may not sound normal, less powerful, wasteful of fuel, even broke down while driving in the middle of the road. Too bad, right? Before experiencing problems like that, Anticipate the occurrence of leaks in the radiator. Prevention can be done by treating the cooling system. For this, there are a few tips that we recommend:

    1. Perform regular checks on water radiator reserve tank. If the surface water in the tank below the MIN, add soon. If you’ve looked dirty and looks cloudy, drain and replace with a new radiator water.

    2. Use a special radiator fluid when filling the radiator (coolant). In addition to helping the cooling process, in the liquid also contained a substance that can reduce corrosion on the radiator and engine. Corrosion and dirt on the cooling water is not very good because it can interfere with the cooling process. We suggest using a water glycol coolant manifold ethlylene high quality.

    3. Clean the radiator grille with a spray water on the radiator fins.

10 Tips To Help Keep Your Van Windscreen Clean

It has happened to most of us that drive any vehicle and in particular it has happened to those of us that drive a van – poor visibility at high speed. Having a clean windscreen isn’t just about your van looking good. It’s about safety as well. Vans more so than cars are prone to getting dirty windscreens. This is often because of the places that they are used and also because of the long hours they spend in service on the road. Cleaning your screen is a pain but can significantly improve your safety and your outlook. So OK, do you really need to read about this, surely it just involves a little water and a cloth? Well it all depends how clean you want to go.

Here a 10 screen cleaning tips for you.

    1. Add a little vinegar to your water and make sure the water is as hot as you can get it. Most commercial glass cleaning products have vinegar added. It’s acidic properties really help to cut through grease.
    2. Clean the inside as well as the outside.
    3. Don’t use the same cloth to clean your screen and your bodywork. The cloth will often have traces of wax on which is something you don’t want to get on your windscreen
    4. Use a squeegee. The dragging of rubber over the screen helps to remove a good amount of residual dirt.
    5. Use diluted windscreen wash. You can add the stuff that you use to put under the bonnet, in the washer tank, to a bucket of hot water along with your vinegar. This works very well.
    6. Use newspaper to dry your windows. Newspaper really absorbs the water and leaves no traces of anything that you don’t want on your screen.

Five Tips for a Clean Van – Your Van Reflects More Than Your Face

If you run a business that involves you using a van, have you ever thought what the van says about you? If customers can see your reflection in your van then that is a good reflection on your business. You wouldn’t turn up to a job interview without polishing your shoes or ironing your shirt, yet many business people do turn up to see a client, or even worse a prospective client’s house, in a dirty van. Of course there is dirty, and then there is dirty. A bit of dirt on your van is acceptable, but when it is so dirty that people have written on it, or even worse, your details are covered up, then this is perhaps a bit too dirty. Same goes for the interior of the van. If your client sees a messy interior, he might think that you are a messy worker. If you are a tradesman going into people’s homes then this really isn’t good. So here are 5 tips to help you keep a clean van.

1 – Now this is obvious, but wash your van regularly. Even a cold water spray with a hose just to knock off some of the dirt is better than no wash at all. The more often that you clean your van the quicker it is each time.

2 – Use a soft brush. A soft brush dipped in a builder’s bucket of soapy water really cuts through a lot of dirt. On vans it can save you from getting out the step ladders to do the hard to reach areas. Just make sure that the brush has no grit on it or you might scratch the paint-work.

Why Car Wash Machines Are Best for Cleaning Car Interiors

A car wash machine is used for auto detailing on a commercial basis. All maintenance contractors and car wash businesses look for a car wash machine that is powerful, long-lasting, and productive. The car wash machine should be affordable and have proper warranties.

To clean car interiors, both a carpet cleaner and a steam cleaner can be used.

    Carpet Cleaners

While there are many types of carpet cleaners available on the market, you can narrow down the search for the perfect car washer machine using the following criteria:

    1. Temperature: You can choose between a heated or non-heated carpet cleaner. A heated car wash machine clears away grease, wax, and stains while also removing odors and molds. A commercial carpet cleaning machine often attains temperature as high as 210 degrees Fahrenheit. For lightly soiled carpets, seat covers, and car rugs, you can use a non-heated car wash machine. Non-heated machines are less expensive and consume less power than hot water carpet cleaners. You also must keep in mind the type of carpet or fabric to be cleaned as expensive or handcrafted carpets cannot withstand very high temperatures. This is usually not an issue when cleaning vehicle interiors.
    2. Water Efficiency: Low flow carpet cleaners use minimal water for cleaning. Most car washing businesses have turned to low flow machines because of their many advantages. Besides reducing water bills, these machines also reduce costs and labor associated with collection and disposal of dirty water. These machines are particularly useful if you need to clean cars in areas experiencing drought conditions.
    3. Portability: This is an important criteria if you run a mobile car wash business or need to clean a large fleet. Portable car washer machines are wheeled units, while these are lightweight.
